Frequently asked questions
In order to become an Arise Certified Professional and service a customer based in the United States, you need to legally reside in the United States and be 18 years or older. (Currently Arise is not accepting new applicants from the following states: California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon & Wisconsin)
Many people have strong feelings about work from home oportunities due to the amount of fraudulent sites. We asure you, as Partners of Arise Virtual Solutions since 2005, we have done our due deligence in researching them. Through years of relationship with Arise and the countless Agents who are currently servicing clients through Arise, we only have possitive feed back.

Certification is an investment opportunity. Like an aesthetician, realtor or general contractor, it prepares the learner to be a true professional. Learners will gain keen knowledge related to the client, call types, customers, and how to be successful. The prices for training vary from client to client. This is required by clients in order to be able to service their account. The course provides information on the client’s systems that will be used by agents during servicing, as well as the performance metrics laid out in the operative Statement of Work and other information about the client program. Courses range anywhere from 10 days to 8 weeks in length. Each session is normally 4 hours long. Often the course is instructor-led but there are also self-directed components, and there may be requirements to complete prior to the next day’s class. Everything is virtual. Videos and audio components are built into the online experience.

Courses may take between two to six weeks depending on the client you choose. Once you have completed the course and become certified with a client, you begin to service them immediately!
Palma & Company nor Arise will compensate you for the time spent in the client certification course. The time you invest will give you the required knowledge in order to service your Client successfully. You are Self Employed and you are responsible to obtain the specialized skills that are needed in order to provide the appropriate services to the client that you choose. Palma & Company will give you tips and tricks to make this transition as smooth as possible. We've had agents of all backgrounds and with different life circumstances that have made it through the certification process and are now happily servicing their Clients.

You will not become an employee of Palma & Company nor Arise. You will become an Independent Contractor. Palma and Company is just one of the tens of thousands home based virtual call centers that Arise is partnered with.
Arise provides a virtual platform to connect "us" small businesses to Fortune 500 and other large companies and provide them the services they need.
As an Independent Contractor, it is up to you how much revenue you earn. You can work as much or as little as 15 hours a week. Arise clients pay rates range from $9 - $16 per hour depending on the Client you select to Service. Client opportunity details are posted on the Arise portal. You may click on the green Info button to review the client details, such as the servicing hours available and types of calls you will be taking. Some Arise clients have time slots for CSPs to service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Palma & Company will inform you of the pay rates of each opportunity available prior to your enrollment in a Client Certification class.
Independent Contractors are responsible for their own taxes. At the end of the year, Palma & Company will provide you a 1099-MISC form. You are responsible for paying applicable Federal, State, or local taxes. Since you are not an employee of either Palma & Company nor Arise, you are not eligible for unemployment, overtime or benefits and you are responsible for your own retirement savings.
Palma & Company deducts a $45.00 fee per service period. This covers both Palma & Company and Arise's bi-monthly administration fees.
Our low service fee, allows us to provide you with support through your registration, certification process and during the course of our ongoing working relationship, continuing education, accounting, and revenue disbursement services. Palma & Company offers you the opportunity to service clients without having to incorporate. Arise provides the infrastructure, a 24-Hour Client Technical Support Help Desk and a scheduling system and accounting services.
Please note that this fee is not deducted until the first invoice period after you begin providing customer interaction services to your first Arise client.
